Rex was in such bad shape when he was rescued but now he weighs 60 pounds and is still filling out. He was born in January 2012 but still acts like a pup sometimes because he loves to play. Rex is amazing. After everything he has been through he is still such a happy boy. He gets along great with cats and small dogs. He seems to like all the girls, no matter what size they are. He's still deciding about some of the big boys. But watching the cats rub up against him is entertaining. He likes to be a big goof-ball sometimes, bouncing around trying to get you to play with him. You can't help but smile. Rex is easy to bathe and walks well on a leash most of the time. (Once in a while he will tug you in the direction of his goal, but usually he is just happy to go with you wherever you want to go. Rex rides well in the car as long as he has a toy or bone to chew on or a companion to play with. He has turned into a wonderful dog full of love. Rex clearly suffered before he was rescued. He was adopted by a family with a 5 yr old daughter who Rex adores.
